Biography
Leonid leads Transactions Tax services in London as part of the wider National Transactions Due Diligence group.
Leonid provides due diligence, structuring, review of tax assumptions in valuation models and advises on tax clauses in legal documents for UK and International clients. With more than 20 years’ experience in tax, Leonid is also a specialist in various aspects of international taxation, including; operation of double tax agreements, corporate residence, international corporate reorganisations, cross border financing and profit repatriation.
When asked what he enjoys most about his job, Leonid says:
"I enjoy helping clients navigate through their transactions, identifying any potential pitfalls and assisting with price negotiations to reach a successful outcome. This gives me a great sense of achievement and allows me to develop strong working relationships with my clients."
Outside work, Leonid is a keen ice hockey fan and generally enjoy all sports and is a regular at the gym.
