Biography
Lee specialises in assisting businesses and stakeholders to restructure and preserve value. This involves undertaking diagnostic reviews and identifying options to successfully navigate through distressed situations. He also works with lenders to undertake pre-lend reviews and assess potential lending opportunities. He also undertakes corporate insolvency appointments - guiding directors and other stakeholders through the complexities and difficulties of these situations.
Lee is both ACA and JIEB qualified, giving him skills to assess financial situations and knowledge of distress. This enables him to assist businesses through difficult situations or to identify the most appropriate procedure to maximise returns. From a pre-lend review perspective, having a detailed knowledge of distress helps to identify the potential pitfalls of a proposed lend.
Lee’s skills can be applied across most sectors but, in particular, has specialist knowledge of contractual manufacturing; charities; property and leisure businesses.
When asked who he enjoys helping and why, Lee says:
"I often meet people at some of the most challenging points in their professional lives. I’m always sympathetic to the directors, employees and stakeholders that I work with and I feel an enormous sense of achievement having guided people and their businesses through difficult times."
Outside of work, Lee is a keen amateur sportsman and whilst he enjoy most sports, he has a real passion for running and football.
