About Kerry Gallagher

Kerry Gallagher works in the Finance Function Support team and leads a team providing financial reporting support to charities, academy trusts and social housing providers.

Her work includes statutory accounts preparation and year-end support, as well as charity Independent Examinations. She also provides governance support and carries out service charge reviews for housing providers.

Kerry has over 20 years’ experience working in RSM’s not for profit team having joined as the firm as a graduate trainee in 2002. Kerry spent most of this time working as auditor to a wide range of charities, independent schools and academy trusts gaining a deep understanding of the issues and challenges facing her clients.

Kerry transferred to the Finance Function Support team in April 2026 and now specialises in providing financial reporting support.

Kerry holds the ICAEW diploma in charity accounting and has been both a charity trustee and school governor.

She enjoys travelling and is happiest outdoors, ideally by the sea. At weekends Kerry can be found exploring with her husband and daughter or planning their next trip.
