Biography

Keith has over 28 years’ experience in dealing with various insolvency matters, including contentious insolvency.

He started at the Manchester Official Receiver in 1994 and joined Baker Tilly (now RSM) in March 1995, working across personal and corporate insolvency matters. After specialising in bankruptcy portfolio work, he developed a niche for contentious insolvency and investigations. This included acting for HMRC, ICO, financial institutions, banks, asset-based lenders, insurers, solicitors and private individuals who required investigations in cases involving allegations of delinquency, unfit conduct and fraud.

He has achieved multi-million-pound settlements by way of restoration in bankruptcy and liquidation investigations involving fraud, misfeasance, and breach of duty, involving the UK and multiple overseas jurisdictions.

Keith is a licensed insolvency practitioner and fellow of the ACCA.

Keith employs a collaborative approach internally across multiple service lines in conjunction with external legal, counsel and intelligence experts; together with high levels of motivation and perseverance.

'I am passionate about recovering cash stolen from the public purse by fraudsters abusing the system, especially when that can help plug the funding gap for the NHS. I am aggressive and tenacious in my investigations and like Tom Hanks in Catch Me If You Can, relentless in the pursuit of my targets, to restore the position for creditors.'

Outside of work, Keith plays football, enjoys live music, art and running. Keith and his wife Julie are the parents of a medically complex warrior, Blair. He is a keen Plymouth Argyle fan and a proud ‘Janner’.
