About Jon Bennett

Jon is a consulting partner and leads our insurance sector, delivering internal audit, risk management and regulatory support to financial services clients across the UK.

A lifelong internal auditor by trade, Jon works with banks, insurers, consultancy firms and broker/traders of all sizes, from owner-managed businesses to FTSE 250 firms. He specialises in data integrity and helps clients understand, manage and fix complex issues, whether they’re internal audit related or not.

Jon also leads our insurance sector in the UK, focused on bringing RSM’s full-service offering to the insurance market and supporting one of the cornerstones of the UK economy. Based in Birmingham, he has a national footprint and supports the growth and development of RSM’s financial services regulation and compliance teams across Birmingham, Bristol and the wider regional middle market.

Jon has worked in internal audit for regulated businesses for more than 15 years, starting his career as a school leaver at another firm. He is an accountant by qualification and an FCCA. He has worked across the full spectrum of financial services organisations, including insurance carriers, large banks, consultancy firms and broker/traders.
