About Jana Klir

Jana Klir is a Tax Director and the technical lead for Specialist Tax Accounting and Reporting services (STARS) in the UK.

As an experienced tax specialist, with 15 years’ experience working in tax, Jana supports clients through some of the most complex and judgemental areas of financial reporting. Her work includes advising on deferred tax asset recognition, acquisition accounting, tax consolidations, deferred tax on property transactions and the tax impacts of changes in accounting standards.

Jana also works as an extension of our audit team, providing specialist technical expertise.

She is passionate about making complex technical issues manageable, helping clients understand the requirements and reach well-supported conclusions.

Jana started her career as an accountant before moving into tax. She worked as a corporate tax specialist supporting large and listed businesses for over 10 years before becoming a lead for RSM’s STARS offering. She is member of the Chartered Institute of Tax.

Outside work, Jana can usually be found seeking out good food, good wine and her next city-break destination.
