About Jamie Wilson
Jamie Wilson is a Director in RSM’s Restructuring Advisory team, where he helps clients to make sense of stressed and distressed situations, provide solutions, and enable them to move forward with confidence. He has over 25 years’ experience across a range of corporate restructuring, insolvency and advisory engagements, including Special Administrations and trading situations. Using his collaborative working style and technical knowledge, Jamie has also advised across a range of sectors including financial services, fintech, and distressed real estate, and has worked on complex, multi stakeholder and cross border matters.
Jamie is an integral part of RSM’s Central Government relationship and has a deep understanding of Government’s response to crisis situations having completed an 18-month secondment to the Special Situations Group within UK Government Investments. His role there was to provide specialist restructuring and crisis advisory support to Government Ministers and departments concerning high-profile matters of national importance, involving complex financial and commercial issues. This also entailed working closely with HM Treasury and Cabinet Office to coordinate cross government responses, and supporting the structuring of Government interventions and contingency planning in high-risk, high scrutiny situations.

Outside work, Jamie enjoys spending time with and exploring new places with his family, including his two teenage daughters. He is a keen music enthusiast, and can often be found attending live gigs whenever time allows.
