About James Baker

James leads the technology arm of our Consulting’s Forensics solution, including its eDiscovery service. He also oversees the digital strategy for RSM Consulting, driving the development of the firm’s analytics and AI capabilities and leading the creation of cloud based digital solutions that enhance how we use technology to deliver stronger outcomes for clients.

James spent 25 years at Deloitte, most recently as a Partner in Forensic Technology, where he led the Forensic Data Analytics practice. He also served as CTO of Financial Advisory Ventures, overseeing digital product development and AI transformation initiatives. His expertise spans digital forensics, e-discovery, data analytics, investigations and software development, with a strong technical foundation in architecture, cloud engineering and building technology-enabled solutions.
