Ian Sadler leads the firm’s UK outsourcing practice together with the RSM global compliance and reporting services (GCRS) offering.
Ian’s client focus is largely upon multi-national mid-market clients who are looking to transform and manage their international compliance, accounting and reporting responsibilities, together with the associated risks, through outsourcing and transformational solutions.
Ian spent 15 years as a partner at two of the 'Big Four' professional service firms where he built, led and developed global compliance outsourcing and business transformation teams, taking both European and Global Leadership roles. He was seconded to the Global Tax Practice of one firm to develop an automated outsourcing solution and has worked in Europe, Bangalore in India, the United States and was seconded to Australia to develop a tax processing centre.
Author of articles in UK and international finance publications including 'The 21st Century Tax Function', 'Outsourcing: Fools Gold?' and '2015: A Year to Remember for the Tax Function'. He also published 'Innovating around the compliance process: the search for radicalism' in conjunction with the University of Oxford.
He is a speaker at key events on compliance, change management and business transformation.
