Hannah heads up the not for profit and education team for the London and East region. She has 20 years external and internal audit experience and has a real passion for the not for profit sector.
She advises charities on audit, assurance, governance and risk and financial reporting, and is an audit partner for a number of charity and education clients across the region, including Top 250 charities, multi-academy trusts, independent schools and large educational institutions. She oversees the audit cycle, maintains dialogue throughout the year as well as involvement at a strategic level.
Hannah contributes regularly to both internal training and external publications and is the originator and contributor to the Academies Back to School Report as well as having been the lead for internal training for further education, academies and charities for a number of years. She also represents RSM at the ESFA academies auditor forum. Hannah was the co-author of RSM’s Audit and Finance Committees: Green Lights Ahead and Decoding the Governance Code publications.
Her skills include delivery of both internal technical training and trustee training. Hannah holds the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting and an MSc (with Distinction) in Voluntary Sector Management from Cass Business School. In her own time she is a trustee, Chair of Resources Committee, for a children and young people’s charity.
Hannah is RSM’s National Head of Inclusion and the London regional lead for Corporate Responsibility. She leads the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Steering Group and is committed to RSM’s mission of being an employer of choice where everyone can bring their true self to work. Hannah is also a trained Mental Health First Aid Champion.
