Biography

Gayle is an experienced Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) specialist with more than 20 years’ experience working with internationally expanding businesses, predominantly from North America, looking to set up and grow their operations in the UK and Europe.

Gayle leads the FDI offering alongside her colleagues within the International team and guides her clients through complex legislative and compliance requirements of setting up overseas, providing advice to ensure that her clients manage their business risk while achieving their growth aim.

She understands the risks and concerns that central expansion teams face when they can’t be on the ground themselves and so becomes their eyes and ears, applying her local expertise. Her significant hands-on experience enables her to give honest and practical advice on what is often unknown territory for some clients.

Alongside her expertise in finance outsourcing, Gayle brings together experts in HR, payroll, tax, VAT and international assignment services to help clients set their operations up in the most efficient and cost-effective way.

Gayle's role before coronavirus, included frequent visits to the US, particularly New York and Boston where she is an active part of the internationally expanding business community, bringing insights and expertise to our US partners, clients and prospects.

When asked what she loves most about her role, Gayle says:

"I’m passionate about making a difference! Assisting clients before they make big decisions about overseas expansion and providing advice to support those decisions and avoid the classic pitfalls, means I play some part in that client’s success story."

Outside of work, Gayle is mummy to twin boys and when she is not running around after them, she finds relaxation in gardening, baking and intricate sugarcraft creations.
