About David Walters

David Walters supports RSM’s team of 130 indirect tax specialists by identifying and analysing indirect tax developments, working with the team to understand and communicate the significance of changes in indirect tax law and policy.

David has worked in indirect tax since 1998. From 2004 he specialised in VAT litigation support, before moving into an indirect tax technical role in 2016.

When asked what motivates him, David explained:

“The indirect tax landscape is constantly changing, which produces an endless variety of questions and challenges that we can help clients to navigate. No two days are the same.”

Having once spent a year volunteering at an animal sanctuary in Bolivia, David retains a residual fondness for spider monkeys and pumas.
