Biography
Darren Slater leads the Southampton accounting insight and advisory team. Darren’s focus is on supporting clients and helping them prepare and understand their financial information.
He has been with RSM for over 20 years and is an ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) member. During his career with RSM he has focussed primarily on advising and assisting owner managed businesses with their financial affairs and reporting.
"I enjoy problem solving, understanding performance and working with clients to find out what makes their business tick. I also enjoy working with my colleagues across the business to deliver complete solutions to my clients."
Outside work, Darren enjoys family life with his two daughters and when time allows, he also enjoys walking and swimming, as well as trying to grow his own fruit and veg.
Darren’s RSM timeline:
- 2018: promoted to Financial Reporting Director
- 2016: promoted to Financial Reporting Associate Director
- 1998: joined RSM predecessor firm as an AAT apprentice
