Biography
Risk, governance and internal control have never been higher on the boardroom agenda as the board grapple with ever increasing and competing pressures. As an internal audit specialist and a healthcare and further education subject matter expert, Clive plays a critical role in the corporate governance frameworks of clients by providing independent assurance and proactive advice that protects clients against risk, informs strategic decision making and improves overall performance.
Clive acts as head of internal audit for a range of clients of varying size and complexity providing internal audit and controls assurance, advice to boards on enterprise risk management, risk, controls and assurance mapping, training for boards on topical issues and sitting on project boards to advise on implementation of business critical systems.
Clive is the editor of Health Matters publication and contributes to other thought leadership articles across healthcare and FE related issues. He also sits on internal sector groups within RSM, ensuring that his clients receive the latest updates and briefings on issues affecting their sectors.
