Biography

Chris is a Restructuring Director based in the Midlands and carries out restructuring assignments across a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, engineering, leisure, retail, care homes, financial services and real estate. Having worked with SMEs throughout his career, Chris understands the varied challenges that management teams face and uses his knowledge and relationship skills to quickly assess, recommend and implement options.

Working with owners, companies, directors and their lenders during times of financial distress, Chris advises stakeholders including carrying out Independent Business Reviews (IBRs) and focussed advisory work. This includes cash flow and business plan reviews, forecasting, credit score improvement, debt advisory, refinance and consensual solutions such as TTP arrangement proposals. He also leads and manages all types of formal insolvency work and solvent liquidations.

Chris is a qualified Chartered Accountant and licensed Insolvency Practitioner with over 15 years’ experience. He also spent nine months on secondment in the business finance division of a growing challenger bank and gained hands-on exposure to a wide range of clients from origination, the credit process and portfolio management through to non-performing lends and recoveries.
