Biography
Catherine is Regional Audit Managing Partner for London and South-East region. Her background and experience is primarily as auditor to large, listed and complex clients, with specialisms within the retail and manufacturing sectors. Prior to taking on the role of Regional Audit Managing Partner at RSM, Catherine served as the Audit Quality Leader for the London and South-East region, ensuring that audit quality is at the heart of all we do.
Catherine joined RSM in 2021, having previously spent time at both EY as a partner in the Yorkshire region and Grant Thornton. During her career she has worked across multi-sectors within the audit practice but has also spent time working within a recovery and reorganisation team as well as Royal Bank of Scotland, within their leveraged debt team. This allows Catherine to bring a broad view of the finance industry to bare and share broad insights.
Asked what motivates her in her working life, Catherine says:
'The most important aspect of my job is understanding the ‘people factor.’ In a world where automation and processes dominate, it's crucial to understand the human element in every business. Whether it's collaborating with clients or working with my team, by getting to know the individuals I can better identify risks and opportunities, which allows me to provide genuine insight and value.
I firmly believe in going above and beyond to offer a unique approach to my clients and be a strong partner for RSM. My dedication to delivering this approach ensures our clients receive the exceptional service.'
Outside of work Catherine likes to stay active, travel and spend time with her family.
