Biography
Andrew has over 25 years of experience of auditing pension schemes. His experience is spread across a wide variety of pensions arrangements in the UK and US. He is part of the National Pensions Group senior leadership team as well as the treasurer for the West Midlands Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association.
Andrew specialises in complex and developing investment areas, such as ESG and he sits on the PRAGs Working Party focusing on this area. He is also a member of our Pensions Technical Committee, where he works to help evolve our audit approach to meet new challenges that arise.
Andrew has worked across a number of large firms across the US and the UK, including a top ten audit firm.
Andrew enjoys working with trustee boards about their challenges, providing tailored insights from his own experience. He works closely with with our teams to ensure clients are provided with a premium service.
‘No two working days are the same which makes my job incredibly enjoyable and very rewarding. I don’t think there has been a sector that has experienced as much change in the past 25 years as the pensions sector and I know that there are many more challenges ahead to keep us all on our toes.’
Outside of work, Andrew is a father to two daughters who keep him very busy. Andrew has a strong passion for music although he confesses, he can’t play or sing a single note himself!
