About Amy Forbes

Amy is a Director in the innovation reliefs team, advising businesses on R&D tax relief and Patent Box claims.

Amy joined RSM as a tax graduate in 2006 initially working in the corporate tax team.

Having subsequently specialised in Innovation Reliefs, she is able to combine deep technical knowledge with her broader corporate tax experience to help clients translate tax incentives into tangible commercial benefits.

Amy adopts a hands-on, collaborative style and her proactive approach means she’s available year-round ─not just during the claim process ─to answer questions, share updates, and help businesses plan ahead.

Her commitment ensures businesses remain confident and well-prepared in an evolving tax landscape.

Amy has two young children and so much to her delight her weekends are spent at swimming lessons, birthday parties and soft play centres.

Outside of that she likes to relax with a hot cup of tea or even better, a cold glass of wine.
