Alison Ashley
Biography
Alison Ashley is Head of Motor Retail at RSM and is also a Partner in the Manchester office. Her career has spanned over twenty years in professional practice, including as partner of an automotive specialist practice and in previous roles with top ten accountancy firms.
Alison has a wealth of experience in advising owner managed businesses and has a proven track record in providing complete advisory support. This includes statutory audit, corporate finance transactions (acquisitions, financial due diligence and disposals), internal control reviews and restructuring projects.
Alison’s motor retail clients have ranged from privately owned operators to multi-site, multi-franchise, AM100 groups. Automotive businesses of all shapes and sizes value her holistic advice and experience throughout their business lifecycle.
When asked what she loves most about her job, Alison says:

Alison hosts RSM’s sector led groups including credit and risk, finance and technical. She is also a member of the Ladies Automotive Club.
When not working Alison enjoys spending time with her family and friends at her holiday home in Wales as well as clay pigeon shooting and golf.
