Biography

Sarah works with shareholders and management teams to help them achieve their goal of selling part or all of the company or in raising money for growth or acquisitions. Her role includes getting the client’s deal ready, leading and supporting the transaction from start to finish, negotiating and project management to project completion. Sarah works across several sectors with a focus on infrastructure, logistics, and manufacturing.

Sarah has two young boys who keep her busy when she’s not at work. Her weekends typically revolve around family activities such as exploring the local woods, open spaces, and playgrounds. When she’s not doing that Sarah enjoys reading or catching up with friends and family (where board games often feature).

Sarah says, "I love helping clients achieve their dreams. A transaction for the shareholders of an owner managed business is often transformational, not just for them, but for their families, too. It is a privilege to be part of that journey. I also love learning about all of the businesses I work with, particularly when I get to do an in-person visit. A manufacturing site tour is a treat!"

Favourite thing about RSM

"It feels like home and working as part of one big family. Having started in 2005, I've seen a lot of change in the business and the market. What hasn't changed is the culture along the way - work hard and have fun, with every day being different. I'm also part of the Diversity and Inclusion Group for our transactions business and am working to help improve diversity in an industry that isn't very diverse."

Sarah’s RSM timeline:

• 2005: university placement in the London M&A team
• 2007: returned to the same team as a graduate and spent 10 years in London working in M&A
• 2017: promoted to Director and transferred to the Southern M&A team
• 2020: promoted to Lead the South East M&A team
• 2022: promoted to Partner
