RSM UK wins its fourth UK Government framework bid

16 March 2022

RSM UK Restructuring Advisory LLP has been named as a supplier on the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Insolvency and Restructuring framework – its fourth successful consecutive bid process with the UK Government.

The framework provides restructuring and insolvency advice to UK public sector bodies including central government departments, local government, the healthcare sector, education providers and charities. RSM UK and other suppliers will be required to advise these organisations and the wider public sector supply chain, in the event of a threat to critical services or infrastructure, due to financial issues.

During the bid process, RSM UK had to demonstrate its capabilities in areas such as accelerated mergers and acquisitions, business reviews, distressed debt restructuring and insolvency contingency planning, to name a few. This was achieved by showcasing a suite of real-life examples where these services were successfully delivered, and clients were supported through their financial challenges. There was also an assessment of social value, quality, and price.

Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2020/21, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.04bn - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

RSM UK is now on four public sector panels, including the Charity Commission, Insolvency Service and HM Treasury.

David Shaw, director at RSM UK Restructuring Advisory LLP, said: ‘This is another great win for RSM UK – we are thrilled to be a part of this framework. It’s testimony to our expertise, and the quality of our restructuring offerings and credentials, which continues to go from strength to strength.

We look forward to advising government departments and various other public sector bodies which play a crucial role in society.’
