RSM UK celebrates charity partnership with SensationALL

Leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM UK has raised over £25,600 for SensationALL, a charity in Aberdeen which offers specially designed therapeutic activities, social groups and practical support for neurodivergent people or those with additional support needs. Since 2019, RSM’s Aberdeen branch has provided funding and volunteering support for the charity, raising vital funds.

SensationALL aims to improve the lives of people with additional support needs through recreational activities, tailored to their sensory and behavioural needs. Their sessions are specially designed to provide a safe environment where people with additional needs can develop skills, make friends and access social opportunities. They also offer specialist advice, practical techniques and expert knowledge to support the whole family.

RSM colleagues have undertaken numerous fundraising activities over the course of the partnership, including team physical challenges, competitions and an annual Seven Wonders of Aberdeen walking tour. The firm’s match funding scheme has also boosted fundraising totals, allowing SensationALL to support more families from across the northeast of Scotland.

RSM has also taken up numerous volunteering opportunities, with employees providing hands-on support at the charity’s main activity centre in Westhill. With assistance ranging from sweeping leaves and wrapping Christmas presents, to deep cleaning the soft playroom and installing new equipment, these efforts have made a huge difference for the charity.

Katie McNutt, SensationALL CEO said: “Corporate support makes a huge impact for charities, making the difference between hope and hardship. We are truly indebted to RSM - their incredible support has allowed us to improve our soft play facilities while continuing our vital services. We look forward to supporting more families across the northeast of Scotland and continuing to provide a safe space for people living with neurodivergent conditions and additional support teams.”

Grant Morrison, Office Managing Partner for Aberdeen added: “A fundamental part of our culture at RSM is our focus on collaboration and connection with the wider community. We are proud to support SensationALL and the vital services it provides to families across the region.”
