RSM UK appoints new financial services audit partner

Leading audit, tax and consulting firm has appointed Tom Stevens as partner to further strengthen its financial services audit practice.

With over 13 years’ experience, Tom joins RSM from KPMG’s external audit team, where he led the operational delivery of various large and complex audits of financial service organisations, including groups with UK listings or multi-jurisdictional reporting. He has extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements under IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP, including accounting standards conversions, for example UK GAAP to IFRS.

Tom’s experience spans the financial services sector, with specialisms in payment services, retail banks, capital markets and sovereign wealth funds.

Tom will provide additional support and expertise to RSM’s financial services audit team, with a primary focus in London and the South East.
