RSM has strengthened its team in Nottingham with the appointment of Michael Plant as a tax director.
Michael is a corporate tax specialist who has worked for a wide range of clients including international groups, privately owned businesses and large UK based groups. In his career to date, he has also undertaken a number of secondments in the UK and abroad with private equity backed and listed companies.
In addition to his expertise in corporation tax compliance and advisory work, Michael also boasts an extensive technical knowledge of both domestic and international tax law, in addition to mastery of IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102 accounting standards relating to tax in accounts.
Michael has spent his entire career in tax since joining a Big Four firm as a graduate trainee in 2005 and is a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
