RSM Eggheads in Stoke have cracking time on TV quiz

Staff from RSM’s office in Stoke will soon be appearing on the big screen battling it out against some of the best quiz players in the UK on the BBC’s popular quiz programme, Eggheads.

The RSM team, who have already taken part in a number of local quiz nights for charity, entered for the BBC Eggheads programme after spotting an advertisement looking for contestants for the quiz show in the Radio Times.

The group took part in filming earlier this year in Scotland with presenter Jeremy Vine and the shows panel of ‘boffins’ – also known as the Eggheads. The episode will be aired on Thursday 21 April at 6pm on BBC2.

The team consisted of Caroline Hulse, Philip Jackson, Carolyn Bailey, Matthew Hill and Ruth Pearson. The team all work together at RSM’s offices in Festival Park in Stoke-on-Trent.

After their filming, a number of the team will be working together again with other colleagues, as the RSM Stoke office takes part in the Duke of Edinburgh 2016 Diamond Challenge.

Team Captain Caroline Hulse, said:

‘We really enjoy doing quizzes together, and we have been challenging each other to a couple of quiz questions every day in the office for a few years. After taking part in a few charity quizzes, we thought it would be a great step up for us to take part in one of the biggest quiz shows on TV. We all have our different specialist areas, and so we work well as a team and all get on really well together.

‘I don’t want to give away what happens during the episode, but I can tell you that we certainly gave those Eggheads a run for their money!’
