RSM advises law firm Keystone on IPO

RSM’s capital markets team has advised Keystone Law Group, a UK Top 100 law firm, on its £50m initial public offering (IPO).

The AIM listing will help the ambitious law firm, which was founded in 2002, to increase brand recognition and redeem outstanding shareholder loans to leave the Group debt free.

Keystone is a full service networked law firm which utilises technology to drive efficiencies and has the capacity through over 200 consultants to deliver all types of legal work to rival mid-market law firms.

The RSM capital markets team, led by partner Diane Craig with support from Matthew Cowie and Nathan Young, acted for Keystone on today’s (27 November 2017) placing.

Diane Craig, head of capital markets at RSM and lead adviser on the deal, said:

‘Keystone is a challenger law firm which has seen rapid growth as more and more lawyers are seeking out alternative ways to practice law. It has a clear, focused strategy that revolves around continued recruitment of experience lawyers in the UK, whilst exploring international opportunities.

‘Today’s IPO will place Keystone in a strong financial position to further maximise the opportunities that the UK and overseas legal market offers.’
