The client

IWJS is a leading UK-based provider of sewer maintenance services, waste management, and industrial cleaning services. IWJS was a subsidiary of Morrison Water Services, which is part of M Group Services. The decision was taken to divest IWJS, enabling the group to re-channel its focus towards its core business activities. Maybrook Investments acquired the business after a strategic review, with its top priority being to guarantee the uninterrupted delivery of contracted services to valued clients.

Over a four-month period, RSM provided support identifying and engaging with potential purchasers, spearheading pivotal negotiations, and overseeing all facets of the transaction until its finalisation.
