Why would a free trade agreement between the UK and the US be beneficial for the middle market?

A US/ UK free trade agreement would be beneficial for the middle-market because we now understand how to use recent trade innovations to put the middle market at the centre of free trade agreement.

One of the innovations in trade that has occurred over the past decade that wasn’t around during the time of NAFTA or the World Trade Organisation is the fact that the US in their bilateral trade treaties has carved out special exemptions for middle-market firms.

It would make perfect sense in a time of transition in a global economy for the US and the UK to engage in a free trade agreement and make the middle-market the centre point of that treaty that would provide unique opportunities.
