Aside from taxes, what will be the biggest change in the US economy?

Outside of tax policy over the next few years, the single biggest change coming from the United States economy will be a multi-year trillion dollar infrastructure project.

In that project we expect to see a substantial increase in public outlays on roads, bridges, ports, waterways, canals and sewage systems.

We also expect to see tax expenditures and rolling back of regulation that intends to stimulate the construction of a modern telecommunications and wireless system in the United States and the construction of a North American energy infrastructure grid organised around natural gas and oil pipelines.

Now, what’s interesting about that is that could provide some really unique bidding opportunities for British middle-market firms, whether it’s in construction or especially in telecommunications where the UK increasingly has a comparative advantage.
