Over the past few years and despite a poor macroeconomic climate, 'rhubarb' has rapidly grown into a £32m turnover premium food experience brand.

The client

Delivering premium class catering for Virgin Atlantic, operating in the Royal Albert Hall and working exclusively with Heston Blumenthal in the events arena and on specific projects, 'rhubarb' management were seeking a financial backer who could further accelerate the impressive growth of the business across a number of food service channels. It was crucial to the team to find a partner who understood the essence of 'rhubarb' and what the brand represents.

What RSM did
