Airhop: jumping higher

AirHop threw convention out of the window with one of the first indoor trampoline parks in the UK. Founded in 2013, AirHop has seen rapid growth and now operates multiple locations across the UK and Europe.

Following a sustained period of growth, AirHop recognised the need for a new financial system that could support their level of ambition. The finance team were struggling with manual processes which resulted in a typical month end taking more than two weeks to close. And, alongside leading finance capability, AirHop demanded a solution that was mobile and scalable. With new parks opening across the UK and Europe it was critical that their new system supported expansion to new locations without costly infrastructure development.

Forming a successful partnership
After selecting the NetSuite platform, AirHop chose RSM as their implementation partner, based on their collaborative style and ability to deliver the business benefits they sought. RSM quickly mobilised a team who were able to help address the process and system issues which resulted from the company’s rapid expansion, bringing professional expertise in process improvement, project management and technology implementation.

With new parks opening shortly in several locations, the project team faced tight deadlines and RSM brought together an experienced project team to ensure rapid success. And, alongside efficient delivery, RSM’s collaborative working style ensured knowledge transfer was embedded in the approach. Despite the complexity of the implementation, RSM delivered a rapid go-live, whilst maintaining control and quality.

Following a successful collaboration with RSM, AirHop is live on NetSuite and has realised the following benefits:

  • reducing the time to close period-end;
  • improved management information through NetSuite’s real time dashboard and flexible reporting engine, enabling rapid, informed decision making;
  • cutting manual effort to pay suppliers via automated electronic banking;
  • improved financial control and the ability to produce local statutory financial statements directly from the system; and
  • the ability to seamlessly expand the system for new subsidiaries and business locations.

An ongoing relationship
