What do our graduates say?

Find out what our graduate and placement students are saying about working at RSM, and if it aligns to what you want from a graduate scheme.

Target Jobs

'Every effort is made by colleagues to help you settle in. The supervisors who you work with on audits are all very knowledgeable and keen to help with any questions you may have. Social events are arranged on a regular basis so there are always opportunities to get involved with stuff outside of work.'
Graduate, Leeds

'We have a very good culture in the office with everybody respecting each other and knowing who is in what managerial role. All departments cooperate with each other on a variety of tasks and there is a very friendly atmosphere around the office. The social side is good, with organised drinks every month and bigger events at the end of the year and at Christmas. The office has just started up a social committee so these bigger events should be occurring more often, which should improve the social side of working here.'
Graduate, Liverpool / Chester

'Line managers are trained on how to nurture their staff and are very friendly. All senior staff are friendly and happy to help juniors to further their knowledge, experience and, inevitably, their career.'
Graduate, City of London

'Managers are accessible and always willing to spend time helping and training. Performance feedback is given every six months at a minimum and informal feedback is constantly given when work is reviewed.'
Graduate, Manchester

'The managers within my team are really supportive and constructive with the feedback we are given. This has really helped in my personal development. Additionally, the managers of all levels are always approachable should we have a query.'
Graduate, Reading

'The company has an active LGBT+ community and is supportive of women and ethnic minorities. Employees are asked to complete the Stonewall questionnaire annually and there are numerous diversity officers who promote diversity across the office and company proactively.'
Consulting, Graduate, London

'ACA is one of the best qualifications in finance and working at a medium-sized professional services company means that you are leading jobs within the first two years and get to experience a large number of clients.'
Graduate, London

'I think the one thing I loved the most about the job was the culture. Everyone is so helpful and from day one had the motto 'no question's a stupid question'.'
Internal Auditor, Milton Keynes

'A really great company with a friendly and welcoming working environment.'
Corporate Tax Assistant, Crawley

'I feel I was given a lot of responsibility and ownership over my own work. This responsibility was given early on and support was provided to ensure the responsibility wasn't too much.'
Audit Assistant, Nottingham

'The Reading office has a great atmosphere which is enhanced by a really active social committee that organised plenty of events. I tried to get involved with as much as possible from sports day to Duke of Edinburgh. This made my place in my opinion as I feel I've made friends for life and it really improved my experience here and made the job even more enjoyable.'
Audit/Tax Assistant, Reading

'As the only placement student in the team I was worried that I would not be given great responsibilty, however, the opposite was true. In proving myself to my manager she was able to trust me with greater responsibilty in time constrained projects. Greater responsibilty means I have felt more valued by my team as I am having a bigger impact on projects.'
Corporate Finance Analyst, Bristol
