The Duke of Edinburgh's Award

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) aims to inspire, guide, support and recognise the achievements of young people.

The DofE awards introduce young people to worthwhile leisure activities and voluntary service. Taking part in the bronze, silver or gold DofE awards gives them the chance to get out of their comfort zone while developing skills and characteristics that will help them throughout their lives.

By supporting The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE), people at RSM help our community and make a difference to the lives of thousands of young people.

RSM is a gold partner for DofE in 2017, continuing a relationship that has been growing since 2006. As Martin Rodgers, chairman explains: ‘The DofE is a fantastic organisation and one we feel strongly about at RSM.

‘It’s a challenging time to be a young person in the UK and as a company, we want to throw our weight behind a cause that help young people gain the skills they need to succeed in life and of course, in the workplace.’

How to get involved

To enhance our partnership, in 2016 RSM launched DofE for Business to give students and young employees the opportunity to achieve their DofE Gold Award; a fantastic chance for both personal and professional development.

The award comprises five modules which participants will fulfil within 18 months, integrated with their work and study schedules. These are designed to develop personal skills, behaviours and confidence and in turn, to build the career of each individual within RSM.

This is a fantastic chance to participate in an exciting programme that is unlike any other formal training we offer. Join RSM and be part of a team that makes a difference to your community.
