Biography
Andy has been an audit specialist throughout his career, working with tech start ups through to fully listed and international businesses. A fellow of the ICAEW, Andy’s career path has taken him from Jersey to Bristol to Leeds, taking on roles heading up office audit teams, office finance partner and audit quality leadership. Pragmatic and practical, yet necessarily robust, Andy has a hands on approach to working with his clients and teams.
When asked why he enjoys his job, Andy says:
"My youngest daughter says being an accountant is about doing sums – to me it’s about talking and listening to clients and staff, helping them solve problems and maximise opportunities. Every day is different and that’s what I thrive on."
Andy has two teenage daughters and loves to travel whenever possible. Whilst his days of sporting excellence are behind him, Andy is a keen armchair sports fan, reader and enjoys walking in the Yorkshire countryside.

- 2011: Re-located to Leeds
- 2007: Promoted to Partner and local Head of Audit
- 2006: Finalist 'Best Accountant in Practice'
- 2003: Joined RSM Bristol as a Senior Audit Manager
